Worship Ministries

Worship is the "thank you" that refuses to be silenced. Worship is a voluntary act of gratitude offered by the saved to the Savior, by the healed to the Healer, and by the delivered to the Deliverer.

Join Us for Worship

Every Sunday we have services at 9:00am and 10:45am (Worship Service & Classes) for a weekly celebration that includes worship through music, fellowship, prayer, stewardship, and Bible application with Pastor Bill.  Discover activities for everyone in the family. Our doors are open to you!

Orchestra

Do you now play or have you ever played a musical instrument of any kind? We would like to encourage you to join our orchestra team. Cathy Freeby would love to talk with you or someone you know and think might be interested!

Worship Team

Our Worship Team meets on Tuesday nights to worship, rehearse, discuss ministry, and pray together. If you feel called to use your musical gifts and passion for worship for God’s glory, contact Cathy Freeby.

Drama

Attention all Dramatists, Devas and Spotlight people. Story telling is an art form created by God Himself to help us understand Him and His creation better. Let’s take back the land (creative arts) that was meant to Glorify God. If you want to participate in this type of ministry, please contact Cathy Freeby.

Choir

Do you love to sing? You are invited to visit during any Wednesday evening rehearsal at 6:56pm. We would love to meet you and we always have room for one more!

Come join this dynamic ministry of worship, practice, and sharing in fellowship and prayer. If you have been considering becoming a part of this special family, come check it out! Contact Cathy Freeby with questions.

Decorating

We have a wonderful group that decorates our facility, gathering once a month for a planning meeting and throughout the year to decorate inside the building. If you’re interested in joining the team, contact Marjie Gubbe.

Communion

We share in communion several times a year. All believers in Christ are invited to participate, not solely members of our church. This simple act reminds us that Jesus sacrificed his life for us. It’s an important symbol of the new covenant and a statement of faith for those who participate. A person’s heart should be focused and open to cleansing before participating in communion.

For more information or questions regarding communion, contact the Church Office.

Baptism

We celebrate our relationship with God through baptism. We encourage every Christian to make their faith public by giving testimony and being baptized. Baptism follows the example of Jesus (who was baptized) and is in obedience to his command. A true believer shows the world that their life is radically adjusted to Christ’s ways by participating in this act which symbolizes Christ’s death, resurrection, and the new life it brings.

Contact the Church Office for more information or questions regarding baptism.

Baby Dedication

Parents bring their child for baby dedication when they publicly go before God and commit to raising them with God’s help and guidance. Parents and extended family join the pastor to profess their faith in God and their dependence on Him. The congregation is asked to pray for the family, to support them, and to be witnesses of Christ as the child grows up in the church.

Psalm 127:3
“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”

Mark 10:16
“Then he [Jesus] took the children into his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.”

Ephesians 6:4b
“…bring them [your children] up with the discipline and instruction approved by the Lord.”

For more information or questions about baby dedications, contact the Church Office.

CDs

Compact discs of each sermon are available at the Connection Center in the foyer after both services for $2.00 each. (You can also listen to sermons online.)
