VISITATION

The heart of the visitation ministry is:

• Making visitors part of the church family as soon as possible
• Making ourselves available to all who need a visit or connection between Sundays
• To be at the hospital or where needed when trouble comes
• To help make long difficult days and lonely dark nights produce wonderful years when faced in loving community

Our goal is to build more connections with group studies and activities, more involvement in prayer circles, classes, visitation by all who can establish connection with staff people and other leaders to be “His hand extended” reaching out to the oppressed and lonely people.

Our prayer is always that God the Holy Spirit will work through it all so that the hard and stressful times will be remembered as victories. Let them build our faith and trust in His amazing grace. We dare to believe that any mess can become a message.

Our Scriptural Base
Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you have me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothing and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to me.” —Matthew 25:35-36
