The Prime Time ministry promotes a vital, loving atmosphere of fellowship with those of mature age and a desire to enjoy and help one another. We meet and share mutual interests; have monthly luncheons with different special features, speakers and entertainment; various monthly activities, and trips of reasonable price so everyone can participate.
Monthly luncheons are held the third Thursday of each month at the Family Center beginning at 11:30 a.m. and will usually be finished by 1 p.m. Every senior adult is invited and urged to bring a friend. Please watch for dates, menus, costs and special features.
We endeavor to schedule at least one monthly activity in addition to the luncheons. Previously we enjoyed trips to the Old Time Fiddlers Festival, the Gaither Concert, the beach in the summer, the Passion Play, IMAX showings, Flight Museum tours, Skagit Tulip Festival, Woodland Grist Mill and Lilac Gardens, hayrides, caroling parties, viewing the Kite Flying contest at Westport, a Mystery Dinner, the Thomas Kincaid Museum, a train trip, Mt. Rainier and more. See the Church Calendar for our next activity.
Each year a special project contribution has been collected for the benefit of the church at large. Past funds have been used to purchase hymnals, projection equipment, folding chairs and other practical, one time needs.
