We want to make a good “first impression” on everyone who enters our church. This ministry seeks to create an atmosphere of warmth and personal acceptance, providing a safe environment for people to connect with God and each other. This ministry also includes providing quality service to parties desiring to have a funeral or a wedding in our facility.
A special place in the foyer is provided as a central information hub. We regularly update all information about MVCN and the surrounding community including classes, leadership, directory, local restaurants, etc. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please let us know.
We have a funeral coordinator who is responsible for assisting families in the process of planning a funeral service at our church. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, such as providing food dishes for the funeral receptions, please let us know.
“Warmly welcome each other into the church just as Christ has warmly welcomed you.”
– Roman’s 15:17 (LB)
Each Sunday greeters stand at the doors to welcome individuals by expressing their gladness to see them and distributing bulletins. It may be necessary to escort someone to a specific class or assist them into the sanctuary. We need friendly, warm people to join this important ministry. If you are a “people person” and interested in helping with this ministry, please let us know.
Ushers have the responsibility of greeting and seating individuals, collecting offering, and counting the congregation on Sundays. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please let us know.
8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Join us for coffee, tea, juice, water, muffins or donuts and fellowship.
We have a wedding coordinator who is responsible for assisting couples that attend Mountain View Church in the process of planning a wedding ceremony at our church. Contact the office to schedule a wedding date, to obtain a wedding packet, or if you would like to contact the wedding coordinator.
