All Church

Mountain View Hikers:  Hike #1 – White Pass Snowshoe Hike, February 25, 7:00am. We plan to leave the church at 7:30am. If you plan to join this event, please sign up at the Ministry Table in the West Wing Foyer, and get all the important information about this fun adventure. Questions? Call Dennis at 360-352-5275.

Family and Marriage Ministries – New Sunday Morning Classes: Love and Respect, beginning February 5; The Way You Are Wired, began January 15; The Second Half of Marriage, began January 15.

Financial Peace University: Make 2012 the year that you get your finances "Unstuck". Classes are Tuesday nights, 6:00pm – 8:00pm in the Family Center, and begin January 24. Childcare is available for newborn to 3 years old. You are invited to attend the first session for free, before you commit to this 13 week course.

Clothing Share – Saturday, February 4: Enjoy coffee, fellowship and free clothing for the entire family from 9:00am – 12 noon. Set out your gently used contributions of clothing and shoes (women’s, men’s and children’s) Saturday morning at 9:00a. You are invited to receive, give or both. Questions? Celebrate Recovery

Regular Thursday Schedule:

  • 5:15p—Solid Rock Café—Dinner in the Family Center. Donation is $3-adults, $1-kids.
  • 6:30p—Large Group—Worship, reading from the 12-steps, and a teaching or testimony.
  • 6:30p—The Landing for Teen Girls
  • 7:30p—Small Group—Pick a small group. For a list of all groups, see our brochure.
  • 7:30p—Life’s Healing Choices
  • 7:30p—Newcomers—There’s a group just for you. Come find out about CR.
  • 8:30p—Snack and Yack
  • 5:45p-8:30p—Childcare is available for infants—12 years. Sunshine Bay is infants—4 years, and Celebration Station is for children ages 5 years—12 years.

Men’s Ministries

Men’s PM Bible Study: Tuesdays, 7:00pm to 8:30pm in Pier 45. Ed Krause will be leading this study. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and a chance to learn from scripture with other men. For more information contact Ed at 360-867-1337.

Women’s Ministries

Shawls of Blessing: A ministry of the women of Mountain View Church. If you enjoy knitting or crocheting, think about making a shawl for someone going through a difficult time. Pray as you make it that Christ’s love will surround the one who will receive it. Teen Ministries

Sunday Mornings: Come join us in the Teen Center for Youth Services.

  • Encounter (Senior High) – 9:00am
    Living the Holy Life. What does it mean to be "holy" anyway? What's this all about? How does holiness play out in our daily lives? Join us on Sundays to explore these questions and to see how truly amazing it is to serve a holy and loving God.
  • Ardent (Middle School) – 10:45am
    The Story We Find Ourselves In. The Bible isn't just an old collection of stories, it's the very story God has been telling from the beginning of time. Join us each Sunday morning as we explore God's word to see just how our lives continue to tell His story today.

Primetime Ministries (50+ years)

Primetime Valentine Banquet: Saturday, February 11 at 5:00pm in the Family Center. Tickets on sale now in the foyer. Cost: $8 each, or 2 for $15. Enjoy the Lighthouse Quartet, door prizes, photographer, a “Chef Ray” dinner and more! Sunday is the last opportunity to get tickets – see Dave and Helen Bennett at the Ministry Table in the Foyer to get signed up for this enjoyable event.
